With our configurator, you can either take a journey through time and bring back the wildest combos from our massive 11-year Reckless archive, OR design your own unique board. Customize your individual top and/or bottom, choose one or two edge colors, adjust the stance, or simply personalize an existing design. Everything is possible!

Of course, our custom boards are crafted with the same love, best materials and attention to detail in our workshop in Hamburg as our standard series boards.

DESIGN GUIDE FOR YOUR CUSTOM WAKEBOARD

Please read this guide carefully to ensure your board turns out perfectly.

Requirements

Image Editing Software
e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic tools that can export common file formats.

Skills & Creative Mind 
Anything is possible! Let your creativity flow and design your board as you envision it. However, it's essential to avoid infringing on copyrights.

NOTE

We appreciate every creative idea but reserve the right to reject designs. Your design must be ethically acceptable and must not contain protected names, logos, etc.

DETAILS FOR THE PRINT FILE

To ensure we can print your design, please follow these specifications:

File Size:

  • Width: 450 mm
  • Height: 1620 mm

Resolution and Color Mode:

  • Minimum 300 DPI
  • Color Mode: CMYK (Designs in RGB may show color deviations)

File Formats:

  • PNG, JPG

TEMPLATE

Please download our template file. It contains all the outlines of our boards. Your graphic should be rectangular; simply import it into the template file. You can overlay the outlines and correct stance position as a layer on your graphic to ensure everything fits within the print area. We recommend leaving some margin to the edge to avoid cropping during outline cutting.

Logo-Integration:

Our logo, with or without a QR code, should be included in your design in a small size. It is already embedded in the template file.

TIPS FOR A PERFECT DESIGN

Margin from the Edge:
Position critical elements at least 10 mm from the edge to account for manufacturing tolerances.

With or Without Screen Printing:
For opaque colors and photos, we recommend adding a white underlay via screen printing. However, if you want the wood grain to remain visible, skip the screen printing - perfect for more subtle designs. 

Binding Area:
Ensure important design elements are not obscured by bindings. The inserts (stance) are shown in the templates. Please also consider the stance option.

CENTERING AND POSITIONING

Check the placement of your graphics carefully, especially if they need to be centered.

COPYRIGHT AND LEGAL NOTICE

Use only your own or licensed graphics. Without proper authorization, we cannot print protected designs.

Alle unsere Wakeboards werden nach allerhöchsten Qualitätsstandards gefertigt und regelmäßig auf Herz und Nieren geprüft. Jede neue Serie wird vorab von unseren Teamfahrern bis zum Erbrechen gefahren. Dabei legen wir auf maximale Beanspruchung des Materials besonderen Wert. Nur so können wir sicher sein, dass sie im Alltag lange halten. Erst nachdem die Boards diese Tortur überstanden haben, werden sie in Serie gefertigt. Stabile Boards bedeuten zufriedenere Kunden und weniger Rückläufer.

Therefore we put our focus on a maximum of strain. Only this way we can be sure the boards last for a long time. After surviving this trail we start the serial production. Durable boards mean more happy customers and less warranty claims.
